Vocabulary with Wordly Wise 3rd Grade
This fun 15-week class will build your child's vocabulary using a direct academic approach to learning. These selected words are often used on standardized tests. and will cover word origins and parts of speech through reading and writing.

Beginner Level
This class will cover 10 vocabulary words weekly using definitions, word study, context, reviews, and quizzes through conversational interactive learning, games, and puzzles to help students understand the given vocabulary. Students will interact with each other to understand context and give examples of word meanings through life application. I will use slides and, video clips, and discussions and demonstrate expectations.
Learning Goals
Students will be able to use context within and beyond a sentence to determine the meaning of unfamiliar words and multiple-meaning words. TEK 3.3.B aligned
