Lesson 3
"Veni Vidi Vici" said Julius Caesar
Learn a series of vocabulary words themed on Julius Caesar's famous quote.
 Week 4
Lesson 4
Professor Ignominy's Dubious Methodology
Learn a set of vocabulary words related to scientific methodology. Use the words in the context of learning more about arthropods and insects.
 Week 5
Lesson 5
Halfway Hurdle - How far have you come?
Review the all the words from the first 4 lessons
 Week 6
Lesson 6
A Penchant for Measurement
Learn a set of words related to scientific measurement.
 Week 7
Lesson 7
Latent Powers Emerge
Learn a set of words embedded in a unique superhero story. Also read an article on the movie Black Panther that includes some challenging vocabulary.
 Week 8
Lesson 8
Neither Negligent nor Negligible
Learn words that are easily confused. Also spend some collect some new words from an article on a professor from Argentina.
 Week 9
Lesson 9
The Valetudinarian's Daughter
Learn 21 vocabulary words all from the first chapter of Jane Austen's novel Emma. You will have access to the full text, so you can continue to read as much as you like.
 Week 10
Lesson 10
Lexical Epilogue (The Last Word)
A review of the full course
Students will learn 100+ new SAT-level vocabulary words, understand how they are used in context, and remember them for the long term.

Students will complete multiple activities (matching, multiple choice, short answers) in each lesson. There are two review lessons each with a 50 question quiz.
