1 hour per week. Every week if a word is encountered that is interesting or challenging for a student, they can bring it into class and share what they learned about it. If they are having difficulties with a particular word, bring it too! We can figure it out together.Assessment

Perfect for book lovers who want to enhance their reading and writing skills while having fun with other fans. Each week brings exciting new words through games, storytelling, and creative activities! Learners can also bring in vocabulary they have encountered over the week, as well as their definitions and usage. We will learn from one another! This means that part of the class is learner-driven. We are a Neuroaffirming Organization! We support learners with different needs and meet them where they are at. In our social groups, we can read out the chat, we can scribe and we keep the class together and don't use breakout rooms.

You might want to have a notebook and pencil on hand although I will collect the words from the class and roll them into a list for you that I will post in the classroom the day after every class as a pdf that you can print out.
