Class Experience

US Grade 3 - 6
Beginner - Intermediate Level
Each class will be new and different. Students can join at any time. Every class will include at least 1 and usually 2 or more new magic tricks. I have been teaching magic for 20 years and have figured out the best ways to present magic so it can be understood and duplicated by students.
1. I perform a trick for the group to get them excited about it
2. Show the most basic way to do the trick
3. Have everyone do the trick along with me
4. Let one or two students perform the trick
5. Any questions?
5. Give additional tips to make the trick better
6. Let one or two students perform the trick
7. Any questions?
Then, we move on to the next one.

VMC will begin December 7, 2024. Here is a schedule for the first 6 classes.

---NO MATTER YOUR SKILL LEVEL YOU WILL BE LEARNING NEW MATERIAL! EVEN IF YOU HAVE TAKEN PREVIOUS CLASSES WITH ME.---

12-07 Coins: Learn to vanish a coin, push a coin thru a table, make a coin appear!
12-14 Cards: We will cover some basics of playing cards and learn amazing card tricks!
12-21 Paper: Torn and restored paper,
12-28 Rope: 3 ropes change lengths and change back.
01-04 Mental: Read your friends minds!
01-11 Rings: Make a finger ring jump from one finger to another and back again.

Learning Goals

Increased self-confidence: I have personally seen children who previously hid behind their parents, standing on stage in front of 50 strangers confidently doing magic.
Foster Perseverance: Learning magic tricks can be challenging, and children may need to practice repeatedly before mastering a trick. This teaches them the value of perseverance and practice in achieving their goals.
