This class is a safe space, small group class for students of all levels and abilities to talk video games! Each week students will be able to discuss their favorite games and characters!

Our sessions will begin with a game of Name That Game. Coach Joe will play a quick clip of a current game and students will have to guess what the game is.

We will then have a discussion of a game that is either current or a game from the past. Students will be able to give comments and opinions on if this is a game they have played or would enjoy playing.

I will then open up the class to each student to give us an update on how their gaming progress from the previous week or talk about any video game items of their choosing. Students are able to participate in our discussions as little or as much as they choose. This class is all about students feeling safe and leaving each class with a smile on their face!

This class will be accompanied by many visuals and auditory learning styles which will allow students alternate ways to follow along during class. At the end of class we end with students making goals for their gaming during the upcoming week! We will work together to support each other in having each other reach their goals! No matter what game your child enjoys, they will be able to discuss it in this class!

This is a great class for ALL learners due to the small class size. Class will also be presented in a way that works for ALL learners with many different audio and visual slides that will appeal to learners of all levels.

Each class has a similar schedule so students know what to expect each class. Our schedule will be as follows:

- Welcome/Name That Game
- Video Game of the Week Discussion
- What Video Games Are You Playing Discussion
- Gamer Goals/Goodbyes

We limit this small group class to 4 students to ensure that every child is getting individualized learning opportunities and feels comfortable and supported. We want our kids to feel like they are learning and growing in every class. Limiting the number of students allows time for everyone to ask questions, have discussions and be able to fully flex their social muscles!
