Are you curious about learning the ukulele but not sure whether you want to go through with it? Or maybe you don't know where to start? This one-time class will give you an idea of how to start or help you decide if the ukulele is right for you! No experience is necessary. Just come with your ukulele, and if you don't have one yet, still come hang with us.

What We’ll Cover:

Introduction to the Ukulele: We’ll explore the different parts of the ukulele and how to hold it. You’ll learn how to make your first sounds on the instrument.

Basic Chords: Get a taste of what it’s like to play a chord or two on the ukulele. We’ll keep it simple, but you’ll leave knowing how to play a couple of basic chords that are the foundation of many songs.

Strumming Introduction: Experience the rhythm of the ukulele with a basic strumming pattern. You’ll get a feel for how the ukulele can drive the beat in a song.
Next Steps: We’ll discuss what’s involved in learning the ukulele, what to expect in terms of practice, and how to choose the right ukulele if you’re ready to take the plunge.
