In this 4-week camp, students will learn all about the characters of Veggie Tales and how to draw them. Campers will also participate in activities and receive a certificate at the end, from the VeggieTales.

In the VeggieTales Activity and Drawing camp, students will learn how to draw the characters of VeggieTales. In each session campers will learn how to draw a character of the story from VeggieTales. This will be a camp, with a fun and interactive setting. I will host camp through live video and also have a wide variety of downloadable coloring pages and activities. My teaching style is a multisensory approach. Utilizing visual, auditory and hands on learning. Campers will interact with each other during camp and in the last few minutes. This is good for students who would like to become more social. At the end of camp, students will receive a certificate as an honorary VeggieTales Artist. I will be engaging with the campers in each session, with feedback given at the end of day. Completion time of camp is 4 weeks.
Learning Goals
Students will learn basic drawing skills, such as the correct pencil, how to choose appropriate colors and the excitement art can bring.

over 4 WeeksLesson 1:
Larry- Boy and the Fib from Outer Space
The campers will draw a picture of Larry the Cucumber, learning easy and fun ways to complete their sketch.

Lesson 2:
Madame Blueberry
Campers will draw a picture of Madame Blueberry, while talking about all the tasty treats that can be made with blueberries.

Lesson 3:
Duke and the Great Pie War
Campers will draw Laura Carrot.
In the last few minutes of camp, we will talk about kindness and how to be kind to one another.

Campers will draw Pa Grape.
In the last few minutes of camp, we will talk about pickles and look over the drawings.

Other Details
Learning Needs
This camp supports students with unique learning needs by using visual learning, process over product (the process of creating art, rather than the finished goal), and using a flexible environment with a multisensory approach.
Supply List
pencil, crayons or color pencils, red construction paper, green construction paper, Elmer's glue or glue sticks and drawing paper (regular printing paper is fine).
External Resources
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
