This beginners dance class will introduce basic movements of hip-hop. We warm-up, stretch and will learn a fun routine. During class we also take a couple breaks! At the end of class we will also work on making valentines cards!
Class experience
During this class we will start off with a warm-up and stretch our bodies. We will also do some cardio and learn some hip-hop moves for about 7-10 minutes. We will then learn choreography to an upbeat dance routine. (Approximately 30 -35 minutes) All music is upbeat and fun and age appropriate! Your child will learn basic movements of hip hop and movement. This song is upbeat and fun. The goal of this class is to get the student excited about dance, move around and exercise, learn something new and learn a routine by the end of the class!
I have been teaching for 19 years in several styles of dance for all ages. I have danced professionally including Walt Disney World, The Orlando Magic (NBA) Dance Team, Carnival Cruise Lines and more. I have directed many dance teams and have judged at competitions and professional dance and cheer team auditions. My passion is to help others be their best! I am passionate, caring and fun and look forward to meeting your child!

Bring colored paper for Valentines Card(s). We will make at least one for a family member or friend. You will need crayons or markers, stickers, etc. or anything else you want to add to your card!
Make sure your child is taking class in a safe space in a clear area where they can extend their arms out side to side and front and back. Also, make sure your child has water nearby and wears comfortable clothing. (Dance at your own risk.)
