Students will learn the about Valentine's Day and will create a Valentine's card for someone special.
Class experience
Firstly, students will learn about what Valentine's Day is and when we celebrate it, as well as some different ways in which it is celebrated. This is shown through a Powerpoint Presentation. Next students will be shown how to create a card by folding a piece of paper in half. Children will be instructed to open their card and write a message on the inside of the card. I will model a message for the children by writing in the chat box (children need to know how to chat box on zoom works)....
Plain paper, writing pencil and coloured pens/pencils (particularly need red and pink but bring other colours too).
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
