Class Experience

In this 5-day, fun filled Valentine’s Day themed art camp learners will get to create 5 FUNtastic pieces! Day 1 kicks off with a fun love bug finger painting and card making class. Day 2 learners will create a one in a MELON card! Day 3 we will BEE making BUZZ worthy cards. Day 4 learners will get to customize their own “reasons why I love you” flower. To end our fun, on day 5 students will get to make their very own Valentine’s Day puppy!

DAY 1: Love Bug Card Making
DAY 2: One in a Melon Card Making
DAY 3: Bee Mine Card Making
DAY 4: Reasons Why I Love You
DAY 5: Puppy Love Cut and Paste

Students will need to be able to cut and paste and have access to a printer, paint, markers, crayons, pen/pencil, scissors, and glue.

Other Details

Parental Guidance

I will provide the print out for day 5, 48 hours in advance so that parents can cut out the shapes for the cut and paste (DAY 5) activity BEFORE class starts. If parent is unable to cut out shapes before class, then parental supervision will be needed during class as well.

Supply List

Learners will need access to a printer.
Learners will also need: glue, scissors, markers, paint, colored pencils, crayons, and a pen/pencil.

External Resources

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

Hello everyone and welcome!

I believe that it is important to learn in an engaging and creative environment. I graduated from Brandman University with a degree in Liberal studies with a focus in Elementary Education. I love to encourage students to express themselves while learning. 

I find it very important to keep lessons fun and engaging for students in order to help grow a love for learning. I have experience in elementary education as well as experience with special needs. I believe that art can be a wonderful way for students to express themselves and grow. 

My classes focus on reading and writing while also incorporating fun art activities. I want my students to know that my class is a safe space to be yourself without fear of any type of judgment. My classes will teach students that reading and writing can be very fun and that art is for everyone!

During my free time I enjoy traveling, going to Disneyland, arts and crafts, DIY's, cooking, baking, and spending time with my family, friends, and pets.
