The learner's progress will be assessed utilizing informal assessment throughout the lesson.Class Experience
Students will be taught how to draw and paint a Valentine's Day Balloon painting using acrylic paints. Topics will include tricks to make drawing easier as well as creating light and shadow in a painting. The class will be structured in a step-by-step manner. It will be taught using a real-time demonstration. The teaching style will be informal and laid back. Students will be encouraged to talk and share ideas with others during the class as this often promotes creativity in others. There is no prior knowledge needed for this lesson.

Parental Guidance
Students may need assistance with paint. Acrylic paints do not come out of clothing or other materials when it gets on them. A smock or older clothing may be desirable.
Supply List
Canvas or card stock Pencil Eraser Acrylic paints of the learner's choice, think unicorn colors- The student will want 7 or 8 colors more than likely. Cup with water Paintbrushes in several sizes Paper towel Palette, an old egg carton or paper plate

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
