Have you ever wanted to hear yourself on the radio? Have you ever wanted to record a radio commercial, audio book, or teleplay? Well then this class is for you. In this course, we will take a dive into the realm of Voice Over acting. What do you do when the audience can't see your face? How can you use your voice to communicate the story? What tools can you use to aid you? This class will answer these questions and many more as we go over the basics of Voice Over & Voice Acting. This class will be in two parts; a lecture on Voice Over Technique, Tips, and Tricks, and then a workshop of pieces chosen by either the students or the instructor. We will go over the common mistakes VO actors make and how to avoid them. We will look at how to risk and take chances while still communicating and telling the story effectively. No previous experience is necessary, though any brought into the classroom will be built upon.

Students will leave the class with a strong foundation on accurate technique and can apply it to any copy.
