Students will receive a thorough introduction and understanding of the Constitution, including the influences on the Constitution, major obstacles and conflicts between the delegates, compromises made, the struggle for ratification, and the public campaign in support of passage (Federalist Papers).
Homework Offered
Students will be expected to read the Constitution, in sections, throughout the course. Additional worksheets may also be provided.2 - 4 hours per week outside of class
