In this class we will focus on learning Urdu language related to parts of face and body. Children will be taught vocabulary related to the topic and we will have different activities related to it. Along with this ,there will be a story or some part of the book which might or might not be related to the topic being taught. Nursery rhyme will also be incorporated to keep the class interactive and engaging. Children will be prompted to converse throughout the class from time to time .Since this class is for younger age group, the language lessons will be kept simple and the vocabulary used in daily life will be focused upon. The schedule of this course is as follows : Class 1: Parts of face Class 2: Parts of body All of these will be taught using interactive activities ,games and peer to peer conversations. The children will be encouraged to converse in Urdu so that they can polish their speaking skills and gain confidence . I might refer to other resources for extra practice. Class Policies : Here are a few reminders as we prepare to begin learning together through Outschool using ZOOM. Please read the following details carefully, as this contains important information that will set up your learner(s) to have the best experience possible. As your child’s teacher, this is my #1 goal. Refund Policy: My classes follow the 'Limited' refund policy model - Full refund until a week in advance, or within 24 hours of purchase (until class starts). Additionally, please understand that no refunds will be issued for student no-shows or absences. Lastly, no refunds will be issued by the teacher for technical issues on the student's end. Please try to be in class on time. This helps ensure the continuity of the class. However, if a child is late to class I will try my best to update him/her on what was missed. No siblings should appear on camera during class unless they are an enrolled learner in class. All students appearing on camera need to be registered students with Outschool and do need to be enrolled in class to participate as per Outschool policy. Parents, if you email me after the start of class, I will be unable to respond until after class has ended because I will be teaching. If you need to reach me during class, please communicate using the chat feature in ZOOM. This allows a message to pop up on the screen while I am teaching; otherwise, I will not see or respond to messages until after class has ended. A gentle reminder that while parents are welcome to remain in the general vicinity of their student during class (especially if students need technical assistance), parents should never appear on camera (as per Outschool policy, no adults may appear on camera or attend classes). I take this policy very seriously for both the comfort level of students in my classroom as well as their safety. If parents appear on camera for an extended period, that student will be moved to the waiting room until the issue is resolved. If you encounter technical issues getting into class, please email support@outschool.com for assistance. You may also sign up for technical issue alerts or view any technical issues in realtime at status.outschool.com. Teachers are unable to share links and passwords for ZOOM classes due to safety concerns. Learners must access the classroom through their Outschool account directly. Our class will be video recorded as per Outschool safety policy to ensure the safety of learners and teachers; however, this recording will only be shared at the teacher's discretion (i.e. with students who miss class). Because this is a collaborative/social class, learners should be prepared to have their video cameras and microphones turned on throughout the entire class. In addition, you'll want to make sure that your student is in a quiet spot that is ideally up against a wall so that we do not unintentionally see things happening in your home that we should not be seeing, as this may also disrupt our ideal learning environment. If you have any social concerns that I should be aware of as the teacher, please message me prior to class. I always appreciate hearing from parents if I should be on the lookout for any specific concerns that might arise during class. This enables me to ensure the best possible experience for all learners. I look forward to teaching your child soon. Please reach out with any questions you may have. I believe in very strong parent-teacher relationships and communication to ensure your child’s experience within my classroom is a positive and safe one.
