In this class we will focus on learning Urdu language based on a topic for each class.
Children will be taught vocabulary related to the topic and we will have different activities related to it. Along with this ,there will be a story or some part of the book which might or might not be related to the topic being taught. Different nursery rhymes will also be incorporated to keep the class interactive and engaging.
Children will be prompted to converse throughout the class from time to time .Since this class is for younger age group, the language lessons will be kept simple and the vocabulary used in daily life will be focused upon. The goal is to keep building upon after each class.

I will cover different topics: greetings, family ,colors etc. We will discuss any fun facts and all students are encouraged to share their own experience about the class topic. I will help them with unknown words or concepts and this will reinforce the acquisition of new vocabulary while we fall naturally into the rhythm of the Urdu language. 
The schedule of this course is as follows :
Class 1 : Beginning conversational skills :greetings, learning to tell their name ,age, how to say yes and no etc.
Class 2:Family
Class 3:Colors 
Class 4: Colors
Class 5 : Colors
class 6 : Colors
Class 7: Parts of face
Class 8: Parts of body

All of these will be taught using interactive activities ,games and peer to peer conversations. 
The children will be encouraged to converse in Urdu so that they can polish their speaking skills and gain confidence .
I might refer to other resources for extra practice.

NOTE:The language of instruction will be Urdu ,therefore, some level of comprehension of the language is necessary. I will be translating in English as needed.

Class Policies :

Full refund until a week in advance or until 24 hours of purchase (until class starts) or prorated refund based on the number of classes attended if informed 24 hrs or more in advance.In case of no show without being informed ,there will be no refund.

The class can go over or under the scheduled time depending on the number of children enrolled and their participation. However, I will try my best to end the class on time .

Please try to be in class on time. This helps ensure the continuity of the class. However, if a child is late to class I will try my best to update him/her on what was missed.

For everyone's benefit please try to make sure your child is taking the class from a noise and distraction free environment. Too much background noise makes it very difficult to listen well and causes interruptions. I will mute the child if I deem necessary for the smooth flow of the class.
 
Since this class is for younger  age group , I understand they may feel shy to talk and communicate initially. I will try my best to get them comfortable and prompt them time to time to speak .However, they will learn and enjoy more , if they participate.
