In this class students will learn that solving algebraic equations requires doing the same computation to both sides of the equal sign. Students will play a board game that will contain an equation to be solved on each square. The students will practice algebra skills in a game setting to encourage fun which aids in the learning process and the recall of skills. Students should know how to complete the 4 basic operations and know how to work with positive and negative integers. One die will be used by the student to take turns. (If a die is not available the teacher can roll for the learner.)
