Univocalisms

In this one time class, learners will be taught what a univocalism is. 

I will give examples of famous univocalisms and the example of MC Solaar - the biggest selling rapper in the world whose lyrics are clean and he raps about issues such as climate change - was influenced by Bombaugh who was a univocalist. 

I will explain how the letter y is a double agent; it is a consonant yet has a vowel quality and it used often in univocalisms, as is ‘s.

I will explain why trying different writing styles and exercises are incredibly useful in developing writing skills. 

I will ask the learners to choose a vowel and together we will write a univocalist phrase.

Then, I will ask the learners to choose a vowel and write a univocalism. I will also write as much as I can and then we will share - if the learner wants - what we have written. 

No previous knowledge is needed and all learners are welcome, although an intermediate and above level of English is desirable for this class due to the nature of the lesson.
