Hello future friends! Having fun while learning has been proven to help children remember things in more detail and for a longer period of time, so let's have fun! This will be an ongoing class and children can join at anytime. Each class we will have an activity that focuses on math, colors, shapes and of course.. unicorns, mermaids or rainbows. During this time, everyone will participate while engaging with each other. I will post all materials and anything that needs printed the day before our scheduled class time. Examples: (crayons, numbers, pencil, paper, etc). I encourage all learners to bring anything fun they want to share to class such as stuffed animals or toys. Topics we will focus on: 1. Counting objects and numbers (0-10). 2. Shapes 3. Colors 4. Observation skills 5. Listening skills 6. Taking turns This class is fun, engaging and will most definitely keep your learner's attention. Please note that this is an activity based class and may require some printing and/or brining simple materials to class. **************************************************** If you don't see a class time that fits your needs, please feel free to request a better time. *************************************************************************************************************************** Siblings: We have tons of fun in our class and everyone can join, but please be aware of the policy information. Outschool's learner policy states that all learners must be enrolled in the class. Please make sure to enroll each learner separately via the portal. They are more than welcome to sit in on the same devise as long as I can see them both so we can interact with each other. :)

Supply List
There will be things that need to be printed or brought to class to participate in the activities. They are things that you will already have and don't require purchasing. For example: crayons, pencil, paper, etc. I will post a list of things we need one day prior to class.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

Hello my future friends! I am so excited to start this journey with your learner! I am fully focused on fun and energetic classes that will open your child’s mind to new and exciting adventures! I strongly believe that everyone, not just children, learn the best when they are having fun and staying involved.
I have a wide variety of education that I will explain in just a moment, but let me start here. I have an amazing 5 year old little girl that has helped me grow as a person and a teacher. She has taught me patience along with the ability to think outside the box in reference to teaching new experiences.
I graduated college with a bachelor’s degree in Criminology & Investigations. In addition to this major, I also received my minor in Communication Studies.
After college, I decided that I wanted to do more with my education so I applied to a 2 year radiography program at an accredited hospital. After completion of this program, I passed my boards and am now a Registered Radiology Technologist- RT(R).
While in radiology school, I began to work from home as an online ESL teacher. If your not familiar with this type of teacher, it’s someone who teaches English as a second language. I acquired my online teaching certificate (TESOL) for this.
My main focus began with the younger groups but as the years went on, I realized I loved teaching all age groups for so many great reasons. From princess crowns to cultural quizzes, we always had fun!
The main thing I learned while teaching was that every child learns differently. While crafts may work for one, games may work for another. This is why I focus my classes around many different teaching techniques. We will use brain busters, coloring, experiments, reading and even prizes!
Something fun and unique about me is that I own a photo booth business! It’s not the typical business, but it sure is fun! I love being part of everyone’s special day from birthday parties to weddings.
Once I figure out how to incorporate this into a class, I definitely will. Make sure to follow my classes to catch new and exciting ones coming soon!
