Let's celebrate all things UNICORN! Join in on this fun TWO day Unicorn Camp! Learners will have the chance to try some new DANCE moves and make two different Unicorns! Wear your favorite UNICORN outfit if you like! After a brief discussion we will get up and DANCE! Learners will be guided through different stretches and movements to fun age appropriate music. We will learn both a short ballet dance and jazz routine over the two days. After dancing we will take a quick break so everyone can drink water and set up for their Unicorn Craft! Learners will then be guided in making a simple Paper Plate Unicorn and an origami Unicorn bookmark! DAY 1: Ballet Dance & Unicorn Paper Plate Craft- Learners will need a paper plate, colored paper, 1 sheet of white paper, glue, scissors and stickers or markers to decorate, Glitter paper or patterned paper is great for the Horn but not needed. DAY 2: Jazz Dance & Unicorn Bookmark Craft- Learners will need paper 8.5 X 11, different colored markers, scissors and glue (glue stick is best), students can also bring glitter or patterned paper for the horn (optional). *Learners can share their project at the end which is great for building confidence and practicing listening skills. *Dance experience is helpful but not required for this camp. *Learners will be asked to stay MUTED unless they have raised their hand for a question/comment. This is to eliminate background noise and be sure everyone can hear the music.
Learning Goals
This class will help learners practice listening, following directions, creativity and fine motor skills. It was also provide a creative outlet to dance and move! Dance is great to practice musicality!

Parental Guidance
Please provide a safe space for your child to learn. Do not have class on a slippery floor or where things can be bumped or broken. *Wear comfortable clothes!
*You may want a water bottle nearby for a quick water break.
*Classes may be larger to keep up with enrollment demands. If you are looking for something a bit smaller or one-on-one please contact me about private classes.
*Learners will be asked to stay MUTED unless they have raised their hand for a question/comment. This is to eliminate background noise and be sure everyone can hear the music.
*Learners will be using scissors for the craft projects. If they are not comfortable please have a helper ready to assist.
*Learners may find hot glue works better for some projects but it is not required. Please have a helper near by when using HOT glue! (Tacky glue or glue dots can be used for some projects if hot glue is not preferred).
*This class has a flexible age range. Some projects may require assistance for younger learners.

I have been teaching English as a Second Language for over 5 years to students ages 3-16 all over the world.
