Class Experience

In this one-time intermediate French class, students will learn about adjectives in French and how to use them. Adjectives are such an important part of speech and can really help sentences come to life! They are great for intermediate students to learn as they will help them expand their vocabulary while simultaneously opening doors for deeper understanding.

Students will learn the basic rules of adjectives in French, we will go over some categories of adjectives and examples in each category and then students will have the opportunity to apply them in class. There will be a PowerPoint in class and students will receive a worksheet to fill out with adjectives as we go through the class. Because this is a one-time class, students will be exploring adjectives but will not receive an exhaustive list of adjectives.

This class is an intermediate French class, so students should have at least 6 months French under their belts before coming to this class. This class will be primarily conducted in French, so students should be able to understand and speak French before joining.

If you are unsure if your student fits this description, please feel free to email me! Students will be encouraged to speak throughout the class, so a working microphone is strongly suggested.

I grew up in a bilingual household here in Canada and we spoke both French and English growing up. Learning multiple languages is a great tool for world travellers, and it is a fantastic tool to stimulate your brain. I love speaking French and cannot wait to share my love of this language with you!
