This session will cover the basics for understanding partial quotient for long division including a template.  We will begin the session by introducing the concept of partial quotients.  We will discuss how partial quotient is another strategy for long division, just like the standard algorithm.  I am very casual and let the learner take the lead, only asking facilitation questions to encourage critical thinking.  Students will need to have a basic understanding of division and multiplication.
