US Grade 3 - 6
This is a class that will help students to learn the basics of calculating and converting time, including the four math operations: addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. Time conversion is explained and practiced in various ways. There will be practice exercises, word problems, along with a relevant video about units of time that is included.  The word problems will range from cartoon-related (SpongeBob and Garfield) to real-life examples and measurements of travel. Towards the end of the lesson, students will be given an opportunity to explain what they learned in the class.

I have an MS in Instructional Design and Technology, with 10+ years experience. I have written and published three technical books on Amazon. In November 2018, I received my TEFL certification. My goal has been to not only develop courseware but to also experience teaching. I believe teaching is the core of effective instructional design. My work has included diverse instructional projects helping different learners acquire needed skills and knowledge.

In my spare time, I watch and analyze basketball, partake in social matters and advocacy, exercise, write books and articles, do landscape paintings, and work on interior and exterior housework.
