Get ready for the ultimate storytime! In this four-day class, students (ages 3-6) will be exposed to Japanese through reading! We will meet four times within a week, and every day, we will read a new book! Students will get first-hand exposure to children's books in Japanese, as all the books are from Japan and written by Japanese authors. In the first part of each class, students will learn some Japanese vocabulary. Then, they will listen to a short story that incorporates the vocabulary they have learned. After the story, students will share with their classmates something they like or have learned. Throughout the four days, students will learn to identify many animals and items in Japanese. In my class, I believe in learning and having fun. While having fun, however, we will also practice classroom etiquette. Let's get ready to read, learn some Japanese, and have fun!
