Algebra and beyond can be overwhelming! From solving for variables, graphing, to understanding operations with integers and like terms, these concepts can be difficult to grasp the first time. Let me help! In this 4-day camp, learners will build and rebuild the skills needed for success in key math concepts. Whether the learner has already encountered these topics and needs a review or is preparing for them in the upcoming term, this boot camp is designed to build skills, confidence, and mastery. Iβll share tips, tricks, and easy-to-remember methods! The class will be full of discussion and dynamic teaching. Learners are encouraged to bring questions and points of confusion. We will work together to bring understanding to each concept. Course Schedule: Day 1: Integers and Order of Operations βοΈ Master the fundamentals of integer operations and the order of operations. Students will practice adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing integers, and learn how to correctly apply the order of operations in complex problems. Day 2: Simplifying Expressions π Learn how to simplify algebraic expressions! This session will cover combining like terms, using the distributive property, and simplifying expressions involving both constants and variables. Day 3: Equations π Dive into solving equations! Weβll explore different types of equations, focusing on techniques to isolate variables and solve for unknowns in linear equations. Day 4: Graphing Direct Relationships π Understand and graph direct relationships. Students will learn to plot points, interpret linear relationships, and understand the concept of slope in the context of direct variation. Course Goals: βοΈ Develop a deep conceptual understanding of integers and order of operations, simplifying expressions, equations, and graphing relationships. βοΈ Use visual aids, drawings, and interactive activities to illustrate mathematical concepts. βοΈ Practice using math vocabulary, properties, equations, and real-world problems to reinforce learning. βοΈ Prepare students for upcoming school year material or review concepts for those who may need extra support. βοΈ Learners will be able to interact and collaborate with classmates during the class. Optional homework and extra practice will be given to help learners master the material. Join us for this comprehensive and fun Math Boot Camp, where we make math exciting and accessible for everyone! ππ #MathBootCamp #Integers #OrderOfOperations #SimplifyingExpressions #Equations #Graphing #MiddleSchoolMath #HighSchoolMath #LearnMath #MathIsFun #BackToSchool
