Week 7 Homework: Ethical writing assignment: Students create a short piece using AI assistance and include proper citations. Week 9 Homework: Advanced writing project: Students apply advanced AI tools to create a more complex narrative or explore a specific writing style. Week 10 Homework: Complete your writing assignment, keeping all forms of your writing process together to show the progression. Week 13 Homework: Students create an outline, first draft, and AI-reviewed second draft to bring to the next class. Week 14 Homework: Final research paper draft: Students submit a polished research paper incorporating AI-generated content and insights for teacher review.
Grading
Upon completion of this course, students will receive a certificate of completion and feedback on their final research paper.

Beginner Level
In the Ultimate AI Writing Class, learners explore the synergy of technology and creativity. Designed for middle and high school students, this semester-long, drop-in style course delves into the responsible use of AI in writing.

What will be taught?

Students will master AI tools to enhance their writing, focusing on creativity, structure, and originality. We'll cover AI applications, avoiding plagiarism pitfalls, and crafting unique writings.

Class Structure:

Each week unfolds with engaging topics, blending lectures, interactive games, discussions, and practical exercises. We emphasize collaboration, where students share insights and learn from each other.

Teaching Style:

My approach is dynamic, fostering a supportive online community. Lectures are interactive, supplemented by stimulating games, video clips, practice exercises, and discussions. This combination ensures an immersive and enjoyable learning experience.
