Class experience
This class is meant to help beginner and intermediate students with their chord changes. Lesson will provide tips on how to make chord changes quicker and smoother to improve technique and fluidity. In this course I will walk through common issues that many beginner ukulele players run into and how to fix them. Examples include: *How to spot your "anchor points" when making a chord change *Recognizing chord shapes *Learning when and why to substitute the same chord in another position,...
The student will learn how to change their chords quicker, improve their playing technique, and in turn promote better timing while performing a piece.
I am a performer and singer-songwriter. I graduated from Ventura College and have been performing professionally for the last seven years. I play shows all over the California coast, and love teaching the ukulele.
Learners should be familiar with most basic major and minor first position chords, and be mid-beginner to intermediate players.
Please bring a ukulele that is tuned, and a good attitude.
