Class Experience

In this ongoing class, students will be adding new chords and skills to their existing skills. Students will be guided in reviewing the standard basic chords of C, F, Am and G7. After we review these chords and are comfortable moving between each chord quickly, we will add new chords. When we learn new chords, we are able to play along with more songs. Along with learning and review chords, the instructor will be reviewing strumming patterns, steady beat, and music reading techniques.

Students are expected to know the following for entering this course:
- How to hold the ukulele
- The order of strings on the ukulele
- How to tune the ukulele
- Chords C, F, Am, G7

This course is ongoing. The instructor will always be reviewing.

In each session students will be learning and reviewing: tuning, chords and their names, strumming to the beat, moving between chords, playing along to music

This class will be build off the information taught from session to session. The order of each class session will be as follows:
- Quick community building question
- Questions/review homework
- Tuning check
- Review from previous session
- New content
- Group song play alongs
- Conclusion of what we learned and what to practice for next class.
