Class Experience

This is a twice a week version of my intermediate stories class. Intermediate Spanish class is for learners who are already familiar with basic Spanish vocabulary and some verb conjugation.

How do I know if this class is right for my learner?

Prerequisites include knowledge of the following:
The verbs estar, tener, gustar, ser, ir and some other common verbs. You may not know how to conjugate them, but you are familiar with what they mean.

Basic vocabulary, which means you already know words like: days of the week, colors, numbers, clothing words, food, family, animals, greetings, house vocabulary so on. You may have already taken several weeks of my beginners Spanish classes.

You may not know how to put those words together yet to form sentences or read or write stories or conjugate verbs. We will work on this together using TPRS techniques with comprehensible input.

Goals of our class:
The goal of this class will be to work on conversation, fluency and comprehension while applying the vocabulary you already know with sentences, conversations and reading and comprehending short comprehensible stories that the teacher or class writes.
Each class we will
1. Practice a vocabulary set. ( Day 1 Monday)
2. Use the vocabulary set in context to read and or illustrate, retell and answer short comprehensible questions about the story (Day 2 Wednesday)
3. Discuss and apply one present tense verb from the story (Day 2 Wednesday )

The class will follow a similar pattern each week, but the text will change. For example
