In this twice-a-week ongoing class, we will meet for 55 minutes to work on reading, writing, and/or grammar skills through an individualized course that is created specifically to meet the student's needs.
Class Experience
US Grade Kindergarten - 12
In this class, students will be assessed in their conversational, reading, and writing capabilities. We will then create individualized learning goals for the learner in reading, writing, and grammar each week. I began teaching in 2010, received a masters in education in 2013, and have been working as a private tutor with elementary, middle, high, and collage age students since participating in a volunteer peer tutoring program in high school in 2004.

Frequency: includedDetails: Students will be assessed through a range of assessments, both formal and informal in phonemic awareness, phonics, reading fluency and comprehension, grammar, and writing based on the parent's preference for their student's learning goals.
Paper, pencils, crayons/markers/ colored pencils, a highlighter, books to practice reading with the teacher, and may need to print curriculum or materials created by the teacher for the student's use.
