Hello and Welcome to my profile!
I love teaching circle time, reading stories, and phonics for young learners. I have been a substitute teacher for 5 years. I love teaching and learning new things right along side my students. I will have many tutoring classes as well as getting ready for Kindergarten classes. I would also love to have a club talking about music.
I graduated from my local community college in August of 2015 with my Associate's Degree. I then graduated from Seton Hill University in December of 2018 with my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary and Special Education. I have helped out in my church nursery since January 2013. I have also helped out with my church VBS in June of 2014 and June of 2015. I have also worked at a daycare for almost 4 years before I did my student teaching. For my student teaching, I taught in a 3rd class and a 7/8th grade special education room. I am certified to teach Elementary Pre-k - 4th grade and Special Education Pre-k - 8th grade. I am also currently a substitute teacher for my local school district since I have graduated from college. I have also taught online for 4 and a half years with VIPKid. I also have experience teaching ESL students.
My teaching philosophy is having a loving, safe, and fun learning environment for all children. I strongly believe in setting each learner up for success by showing them how fun learning can be. I love to have songs, dances, and fun activities for learning activities.
A little about me, I love music. So, I love to sing and dance whenever I have a chance. I love spending time with my family. I enjoy going camping in our cabin. My favorite place to go on vacation in Tennessee. I also love to go swimming in the summertime. My favorite season is Summer. My favorite holiday is Christmas.
