It's Turkey Time for Preschoolers!
Let's sing and gobble while we count, identify colors, and play games with turkeys. We will also read the book "Five Silly Turkeys."
In this class, learners will be exposed to positional words, such as behind, beside, under, on top, and next to by playing "Where's Turkey Hiding?" game. 
My teaching style is fun and engaging. I believe all children can learn and I strive to actively involve all learners in my classes. 
Come join in for a gobbling good time!
No prior experience needed.

Learning Goals

Students will identify colors and practice counting.
We will focus on learning positional words.

Hello! My name is Mrs. Denise and I love words! As a current preschool teacher and a former high school English teacher, I have watched the magical process of word and sentence formation from little ones to essay writing and development of critical communication skills from older learners. It's all exciting to witness and nurture! 

My teaching career spans twenty years and a variety of settings including a traditional classroom, the online classroom, and a life skills learning facility. I've had the honor of working with a broad age range of learners and know first-hand that each child is unique and has something to offer in the classroom. While structure is important, a student-centered environment helps learners to connect what's being taught to their own lives. 

While I'm not teaching, I enjoy writing and fulfilling one of life's best roles....Mom to my three boys! Welcome to my classroom!
