Trombone Time: Right Out of the Box
This one-session introductory class teaches the beginning trombone student how make a good sound, to hold it properly, and take care of the instrument.

Description
Class Experience
The student will learn how to 1) make a sound on the instrument 2) hold the instrument properly 3) breathe to produce a good sound 4) care for the instrument so it is well maintained
1) a trombone in good working order 2) a bottle of slide oil or liquid slide cream 3) an old rag (the size of a wash rag) 4) 2 or 3 paper towels
50 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
