Trivia games have proven to be an effective tool in expanding students' knowledge base. They learn new things and are continuously exposed to a diverse range of topics and facts, which contributes to their overall intellectual growth. Socially, trivia games have been a wonderful way for kids to connect. The nature of the games encourages a sense of team building and engagement. This is a valuable skill that will serve them well in group settings, both in and out of the classroom. These games may seem silly but help students be able to recall information more quickly and accurately, demonstrating a clear enhancement in their memory retention. Trivia games are intriguing and competitive but also increase cognitive abilities, particularly in problem-solving and quick thinking. Game players become more adept at solving problems and making quick decisions, which are essential skills for their overall cognitive development. ***When students join class they are allowed to pick THREE of their favorite movies and add them to a category week that they think their movies will fit into! :D We will be watching small clips of several of the movies or TV shows in class!
