Travel with me to discover and explore The Great Smoky Mountains National Park. I live near the national park and have hiked, camped, and participated in citizen science activities and ranger-led events there many times. In this five day camp, we will learn about the history, plants & animals, hiking , and places to visit in the The Great Smoky Mountains National Park. I use a slideshow that includes my personal photos and videos as we discuss the topics of the class. The kids will be able to interact with each other and me during our camp meetings. I enjoy this national park so much, and I enjoy sharing my experiences in the park. There will be pdfs that need to be printed before each day of camp. SIBLINGS and FRIENDS--Each learner must be enrolled in the class to be fair to the other enrolled learners.
