In this 40-minute class, young artists will learn how to draw an awesome trash truck! Following step-by-step instructions, they'll also have the freedom to add their original ideas. Learners will need paper, a pencil, and an eraser; optional tools include color pencils, markers, or crayons. This small group class ensures individual attention and won't cancel due to low enrollment. We'll start off with a teacher-led review of lines and shapes, using these basics to draw the truck's tires, body, and scene. Then, it's time to add the details! Learners are encouraged to unleash their creativity, incorporating any cool ideas they wish. This lesson is full of opportunities for artists to infuse their originality! Throughout the class, students can freely ask questions, allowing for continuous creativity and originality. This interactive session fosters a relaxed environment where students can proudly share their amazing artwork with their peers. We'll cover art vocabulary, focusing on various types of lines and shapes, as well as spatial concepts like overlapping, foreground, middle ground, and background.
