Is your 3rd grader excited to be entering 4th grade? This is the perfect class to get your upcoming 4th grader ready for 4th grade math. We will review math strategies to prepare for more complex math concepts as they enter fourth grade. In this highly interactive course learners will learn strategies to improve or enhance their math skills. This course will engage learners by using a large amount of visual anchor charts along with teacher modeling and peer discussion. Math worksheets that will be used during each lesson will be provided by teacher. Each class will consist of a teacher led lesson, followed by group practice. I believe in meeting learners at their current academic level and providing an encouraging learning environment to facilitate meaningful learning. ** I do not share class recordings due to agreements with publishers to not post videos with materials they have given permission to use. ** Week 1 June 6 Place Value Relationships Week 2: June 13 Mental Math Multiple by 10, 100, 1000 Week 3: June 20 Multiply by Multiples of 10 Week 4: June 28 Multiply 2 Digit Numbers by Multiples of 10 and multiply with regrouping Week 5: July 4 ( No Class July 4th! Make-up class will be held Thursday, July 6th) Interpret Remainders Week 6: July 11 (No class July 12! Make up class will be held Thursday July 13th) Addition of Fractions Week 7: July 18 Four-Digit Subtraction with Regrouping Week 8: July 25 Lines, Rays and Angles Week 9: August 1 Understand Angles Week 10: August 8 Review addition, subtraction, place value, division, and multiplication through word problems Week 11 August 15 Multiplication and Division Week 12 August 22 Mixed operations word problems Week 13 August 29 Word problems and logic puzzle

Supply List
Teacher will provide a PDF printable worksheet for each lesson. If you learner does not want to print the worksheets they can just follow along using a whiteboard or piece of paper.
