*This is one of FIVE Hamilton Dance Classes taught by Tommi. (My Shot, Schuyler Sisters, Guns and Ships, and The Room Where it Happens, Yorktown)* Hamilfans! We will not throw away our shot today! Not only will we rise up, but we will be in the room where it happens. In this class, we only have 55 minutes to learn a dance, so we will take a page out of Aron Burr's book and "Talk Less, Smile More." Of course, any question about the choreography is welcome and appreciated, but for most of the class we will be dancing! So, bring some water! What you will expect in this class: - Light Stretching at the start of class - A positive can-do attitude - Corny Hamilton puns - Dance Vocabulary: Cambré, 2nd Position, Grapevine, Plié, (just for funsies) - Hamilton inspired choreography to about 1.5 minutes of the song - A final performance for parents, friends, family, pets But just you wait..... Parents: please check out the song before signing up. It is the clean version we will start at minute mark 1:50
Learning Goals
Students will gain confidence in their dancing skills.
Students will learn an entire dance from Hamilton (Yorktown)
Students will learn Dance Vocab: 2nd Position, Pivot Turn, Piqué Turn.
Students will get about 1hr of physical exercise.

Injuries can occur if not properly supervised.
