Ideally for emerging readers who already have strong grasp on the shape of (English) letters, and basic familiarity with letter sounds.
In addition to the 30 minute class, you get:

-Reading level evaluation

Each week in this interactive and engaging ongoing class, we will learn, practice, and apply commonly used words using multi-sensory approach.  Working alongside our stuffed animal friends, we will be detectives to find and catch words in our class, books, readings, treasure hunts, and practice spelling them, too! 

You are welcome to join any week that interests you or stay with us for several weeks to gain confidence and improve reading skills. 
Below is a list of words that we will study for several weeks. That list will continuously be updated so you know what we will be studying and choose classes that most interest you.

Week of February 25: Read a Book with Teddy Bear (been, first, my, could, no); Read a Book with Wolf (the, of, and, a, to, in, is)

Week of March 3: Read a Book with Horse (you, that, it, he, was, for, on); Read a Book with Dog (are, as, with, his, they, I, at, be)

Week of March 10: Read a Book with Bunny (this, have, from, or, one, had, by); Read a Book with Elephant (words, but, not, what, all, were)

Week of March 17: Read a Book with Moose (we, when, your, can, said, there, use); Read a Book with Panda (an, each, which, she, do, how)

Week of March 24: Read a Book with Monkey (their, if, will, up, other, about, out); Read a Book with Lion (many, then, them, these, so, some)

*Tip- join the 1:1 "LETTER SOUNDS" class first for a deeper understanding of the course content and better outcomes.

Learners of all abilities are welcome to join. (May be difficult for friends who are deaf or hard of hearing)
Pre-Requisites
Highly recommend to do the "Letter Sounds" course first, but not required.
Supply List
No materials required, but a full 26 letter set is encouraged to have at home. 

If you have the same animal mentioned for class as a toy or stuffed animal, feel free to bring it along!

The teacher provides a printable 2 pack ABC poster and flash cards of the target words to print for additional home practice.
