In this class, students will use a clementine to explore the 5 senses and how to use them in writing! We'll create a group poem, and each student will create there own individual poem. Students will learn a unique way to gather words, lines and images to create poetry. Students will actively use: simile metaphor onomatopoeia personification and of course ... the 5 senses and their imagination! All while exploring and eating a lovely clementine snack! Join me as we cruise through the art of writing using the 5 senses!

Students will use the 5 senses to induce their writing with simile, metaphor, personification and personal experience.
