Class Experience

US Grade 5 - 8
This is a flex course designed to improve your student’s writing skills in various forms. Class instructional recordings will be posted in the classroom section at the beginning of the workweek and should be watched prior to any writing. Each week, there will be a form of writing address.
Each lesson will have a video lecture and practice to instruct students on how to do the lesson. In addition to the writing assignment, there will be required discussion questions that all students will need to respond to, which encourages student interaction. In addition, students will have to participate in peer review activities with each lesson. This will take place using the classroom comments. Students will further apply what they learn by revising their papers using the feedback given. The revised papers will have to be submitted to me for final review before the end of the workweek.
With each lesson week, there will also be game questions that will build on the lesson. Students will need to participate in the games and mystery challenge questions. As well, they will need to share hints and help one another. Students will be given guidance in the video lesson as to how this is to be done. They will have fun interacting with other students in the class, and hopefully making new friends.
