Class Experience

In this workshop/course we’ll cover how to manage time flows and how to streamline your productivity so you get the most done in an effective way that is time efficient. Once this is understood, tasks such as these don’t seem like such a drag anymore. Consider that a big part of the issue you’ve had is simply a lack of understanding of how to manage and accomplish the parts that comprise the completion of a project. Once this is understood, projects can be achieved more quickly, efficiently, and become more enjoyable within that process.

Ideally, learners have recently received a project assignment they are given several weeks to complete, or have an idea of a project of their own they’d like to utilize as an example to go through the process on.
** If learners do not have their own specific project, we will be able to use mock projects to use as a guideline. Once the principles are learned they can be applied to all kinds of projects and situations in any area of life.

Meeting 1: Discuss various projects of the learners, what the various steps are within them, and the final due date of them. A basic outline of the various steps is created and various stepping stones as well as the due date are marked in their calendars. Basic concepts of how to backtrack the production schedule is explained. Various mental blocks people often struggle with are also covered, as well as strategies to overcome them.

Meeting 2: Check in with learners to see how they are doing so far within the tasks and the segments of time available for the steps intended to be done within this first week. Learners are encouraged to share their wins they’ve experienced so far. They are also encouraged to discuss any challenges they have been facing in order that they receive coaching on how to navigate through them and overcome them.

Meeting 3: We check in again, going over what has been achieved within the second week. Learners have the opportunity to share their breakthroughs, accomplishments thus far, and any trouble areas they’ve had in order that they receive couching through them.

Meeting 4: Learners come together in this final meeting. They have this last opportunity to share their wins, challenges, receive additional thoughts and coaching from the instructor, and share where they are at in the process. Depending upon some of the actual due dates, some learners may be complete in their projects by this time while others might not yet be, but should be well equipped to continue to completion.

If learners need more time to complete their projects (due to the assignment having had a farther out deadline to begin with) learners can also re-enroll if they desire to be within the structure of the course and coaching while they continue in their tasks. They have the choice to either fully participate in the concepts laid out in Meeting 1 (repeating does help solidify understandings of things) or they can simply use the meeting as an additional check point and continue as they’ve been in weeks 2-4 in the first round.
