Teaching your child to plan his time and tasks is an invaluable life skill.  The tips and strategies  are designed for students beginning around fourth grade.  When practiced, these tips can bring some major changes.  Your child doesn’t need to live with constant frustration, battles, tears, and anxiety connected to poor time management.  This class will help your student start  making little changes that will lead to success by building executive function skills.  
Change requires action.  So, try a tip at a time .  Little by little, things will start changing !

This is a teacher - led class.  My intention is for students to feel at ease, comfortable, and willing to participate in an open discussion.  Students will be encouraged to participate by asking and answering questions.  Some written activities will also take place to practice what’s being taught in class.

What students will learn :

Session 1 : 
- Time tools are critical:  cool tools to help you get things done.
- Getting homework and future projects done hassle free.
- Assignments Posted Online.
- Confused about your homework or on what should be your first step in starting your assignment ? 

Session 2 :
- Get papers home and back to school.
- Where to do homework.
- Handling distractions : stop multitasking.
- Having a plan for homework due tomorrow, future assignments, chores, and all your responsibilities.

Session 3 
- Procrastination: useful solutions for typical excuses.
- Conflicts beyond homework: develop routines to help you from being late,  get ready for       school, ready for after school activities, chores, etc..
- Anxious about forgetting important things ?  3 steps to help alleviate forgetfulness.
Learning Goals
The goal is for students to start making little changes that will lead to success by building executive function skills.
