Beginner Level
In this 20 week flexible course learners will be introduced to concepts they will see in a fourth grade classroom. Each week contains 2-3 lessons on the target skill of the week. This class is scheduled to be completed in 20 weeks. Lessons will be structured with a warm up, usually a review of prior content. Following the warm up, learners will be able to watch a video (or two) introducing the math skill of the day. Learners will then be given an opportunity to practice the skill independently. Students will then be able to co This is a flexible course, students will be able to complete the work and receive feedback from me at any point. I will be active in the classroom daily and will be able to provide feedback and responses within 24 hours Monday through Friday. Most of the work assigned will provide instant feedback for learners. Any work that requires additional grading will be returned within 24 hours. My name is Jill Stambaugh. I am a third grade public school teacher. I have my BA in Elementary Education and I am certified to teach a variety of subjects for grades K-5. In addition to my BA, I have my Masters in Educational Leadership. I have taught for eight years in the elementary setting. I have taught a variety of subjects for grades 2-5. I am passionate about making leaning fun and accessible to all learners. I believe any child has the ability to achieve at high levels if we are able to meet them where they are. I am a lifelong learner and hope to instill a love of learning in others!
