This is an Ongoing Year-Long (September - May) 3rd Grade Full Math Curriculum Class, so your child is able to enroll and unenroll at any point throughout the year. Most lessons in this ongoing class will stand on its own, but there are some topics where the content does build during certain weeks (ex. multiplication). I currently hold a Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education (K-6). I taught 5th grade for two years and 1st grade for 5 years in the public school setting.

Homework
Frequency: includedFeedback: includedDetails: I will provide an optional homework worksheet each week for those who would like some extra practice. This homework is not required to complete but gives students and their grown ups an opportunity to review the content from the week together.Assessment
Frequency: includedDetails: After we finish up most of our unit topics, I will provide an optional quiz for students that they can choose to complete. This will be made up of review skills from the topic we just finished. This assessment is not required to complete but gives students an opportunity to see if they are understanding the material that we are learning in class.
Learners coming into this class should know how to add and subtract 2-digit numbers and have a basic understanding of place value to the hundreds place.
A whiteboard and whiteboard marker (or pencil and paper) *Check the Outschool Classroom tab to see if students will need any additional items in class for that week. Other items may include dice, a deck of cards, counters, a learning clock, or printables posted in the Outschool Classroom.
We will be using Google Slides Presentations that I created and will screen share with the learners. There are some Jack Hartmann math videos embedded into some of our lessons, as well. Students will not be required to go to any websites, as I will screen share all of the content.
