Description
Class Experience
The goal of this class is to foster computational competency with an algorithm for division which will facilitate understanding, efficiency and accuracy when dividing using a standard algorithm.
Homework will not be assigned, but the student will be encouraged to create and solve their own division problems using the concepts covered in this class. Math takes practice, and the more a student practices, the more confident a student becomes!
Paper and pencil are all that will be needed. And, oh yeah, your favorite candy bar to eat at the end of class! 😄😄😄
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
No formal assessment will be given, but a concluding problem will be given for students to solve to demonstrate a level of mastery.
45 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
