Welcome to Mrs. C.'s Storytime! This class we will be reading a favorite in my house, "Thelma the Unicorn." an adventurous book about an ordinary horse who dreams of being a unicorn until one day, she gets her wish! Unicorn bows, headbands and stuffies are welcome! We start by saying hello to one another and choosing our unicorn names, then, settle in for this riviting book, followed by a step by step instruction on how to draw a cute unicorn! Students are able to choose which unicorn we will be drawing in class by voting. If time allows, students can color and add flare within class and for the students to speak to one another about their drawing.
Learning Goals
Students will learn that it is ok to be who you are and that it is not always better to be someone/something else.
Socialization and public speaking.

Teacher expertise and credentials
Hello! I am Mrs. Clayborn and I have so many wonderful things to teach your students! I have a degree in elementary education and have taught my own daughters through homeschooling. I know every student is different, and learns in many different ways. I provide an energetic and uplifting classroom environment where kids can be kids. I look forward to meeting everyone! I will have many types of classes available, one week we are exploring dinosaurs, the next maybe it is a deep sea adventure!
