Week 3 - Unit 13 - F major scale with 16th notes:  Exercise 3 in thirds; The British Grenadiers and Le Basque
Week 4 - Unit 14 - New notes - High C-sharp and D; two octave D scale and arpeggio; Beethoven Song of Joy; The Galway Piper
Week 5 - Unit 15 -  E harmonic scale and E melodic minor scale and E minor arpeggio; Study in E minor; F Chromatic scale; Schubert Waltz
Week 6 - B flat major scale and arpeggio; Theme from Rosamunde; G minor harmonic and melodic scale and arpeggio; Mozart Symphony No. 40 theme
Week 7 - Unit 17 - Exercise in trills; Purcell Trumpet Tune; Handel March
Week 8 - Unit 18 - D major scale variation; Handel March (2); Schubert Wandering; Mozart German Dance
Week 9 - Unit 19 - Mozart Minuet; Mozart Minuet and Trio (from Eine Kleine Nachtmusik)
Week 10 - Unit 20 - Mozart Cradle Song; Schubert The Trout; Offenbach Galop

In this class, students will continue working through The Young Flute Player books.  They should have experience playing the flute for at least six months.  Students who have not played through The Young Flute Player, Book I may audition with me so I can determine where to place them in this series.
