Writing an excellent paper involves more than just stringing sentences together; often, the most challenging part is choosing a compelling topic. Week 1Lesson 1Class 1: Brainstorming and Developing an Outline- Introduction to the course and the importance of essay writing. - Understanding the essay structure. - Techniques for brainstorming essay topics. - Selecting a compelling essay topic. - Crafting a detailed essay outline.Week 2Lesson 2Class 2: Writing a Rough Draft- Composing an engaging introduction. - Developing a cohesive and concise thesis statement. - Developing cohesive body paragraphs with clear topic sentences. - Crafting a compelling conclusion that leaves a lasting impression. - Transitioning between paragraphs. - Incorporating evidence and examples effectively.Week 3Lesson 3Class 3: Revisions and Proofreading- The importance of revising your work. - Peer and self-assessment techniques. - Receiving constructive feedback on your rough draft. - Strategies for making meaningful revisions. - Tips for effective proofreading and error correction.
