In this class, students will learn to multiply two single digit numbers (less than 9) together. Students will use groups of candy to visualize the process to introduce the idea of counting by 2s, 3s, 4s, or some other number as a way to solve problems. (Practice with times tables, which will build upon counting skills, will be covered in a later class.)
