Learn all about our star! This class covers the basics of our sun, its structure, and its importance in our solar system. Interesting features of the sun like sunspots, solar flares, prominences are discussed. The first class session covers the basics of the sun using a detailed presentation, engaging videos, and a diagram of the sun's layers. During the second class session, learners create a brochure detailing information about the sun. Just like a travel agent would promote their favorite travel destination, this will be an opportunity to promote the sun as a premier star! Learners will be encouraged to share what they create!
